  • The German word "stein" means stone. English speakers misuse this term to refer to the 1L glass mug that is ubiquitous at Oktoberfest. Sticklers for accuracy, we have named our Festbier after the German term for this vessel: Maßkrug (say mahss-kruhg). Pouring a deep gold with pillowy, off-white head, expect this special edition lager to have a delicate aroma of black pepper and freshly baked biscuits. Toasty malt character is balanced with a round hop bitterness to keep your palate from fatiguing when consuming this beer by the maßkrug.
