Railyard Double Chocolate Porter

4.5% alcohol. 25 IBU Inaugural Brew on Thursday, February 26, 2015
  • Railways helped build the Americas – and the Porter was a drink of choice popular with transportation workers of Central London as far back as the 1700’s. Rat Portage (now known as Kenora), lying on the Trans Continental Railway was a hub of activity through the early 1900’s. Many a mug was lifted around the region while under rail construction. Hence Railyard Porter – a dark ale made with roasted chocolate malt and pure cocoa. Railyard Porter has a coffee and cocoa bitterness balanced with a deep, malty chocolate draw.
