Sure Footed Sea Buckthorn and Orange Zest Gose is brewed to celebrate International Women’s Day 2022. Cabin’s female staff picked the style, ingredients and name and then came together to turn raw ingredients to beer on brew day – and they did good. The beer is tart and tangy with notes of coriander, orange, pink grapefruit and honey. The choice of main ingredient is very deliberate. Sea buckthorn is incredibly hardy, withstanding almost anything nature can throw at it, all the while producing the most amazing fruit. Sure footed? It sure is, just like the women in this industry who are working harder than anyone else – showing tenacity and perseverance every day - to crush stereotypes about what the craft beer industry looks like. A dollar from every four-pack and a dollar from every taproom pour of this beer will be donated to @PinkBootsCanada, which provides scholarships, training and opportunities to women working in the fermented beverage industry.
