    IPA - New England / Hazy |

Square Wheels is our love letter to our favourite hops - Citra, Mosaic and Idaho 7. We first started making this beer in 2017 and have spent more time refining and perfecting this IPA than any other beer we make. The grain is meant to provide a soft base for the hops to shine without finishing sweet. The hops combine to express ripe pineapple, juicy tangerine and fresh lime flavour and aromas. It's a bright and refreshing IPA that's remarkably drinkable.

Outside Jokes is all about balance. The idea with this beer was to create a Pale Ale that bursted with hop flavour and aroma, complement it with a subtly smooth bitterness and finish it off with a lively, crisp finish. A generous amount of wheat lays a lemony base for this beer, but it's all about the hops. Luscious mango, bright citrus and some delicate grassy notes shine from the combination of Citra and Azacca. It's a well rounded representation of some of the most beautiful hops. A perfect everyday beer.

We brewed this beer to be big and flavourful, but really worked to balance the hops creating a really smooth and easy drinking beer. Citra, Talus, Idaho 7 and Simcoe bring out the best in each other in this one. It's a mountain of citrus and stone fruit with a subtle floral/woodsy vibe happening in the back end.

Quick One is a premium lager brewed with all German malts, our favourite Berlin lager yeast, and hopped with just the right amount of hops from the Pacific Northwestern U.S. The goal was to create a balanced and flavourful light lager that's straightforward and delicious. The yeast provides a super clean base for both the hops and malt to express themselves in this refined yet accessible beer.

Featuring El Dorado, Citra and Huell Melon hops. Brain Space is a double IPA with strong aromas of peaches, apricots, and overripe papaya, with some serious honeydew and cantaloupe. On the sip, more peachy goodness with lots of fresh squeezed pulpy orange juice and melon. It's thick and juice-like, smooth, and its lowish carbonation gives it a smoothie/fresh squeezed juice kind of feel.

First brewed back in 2021, we've played with grain and brewing method but one thing that hasn't changed is the hops. All Mosaic baby, just the way we like it. It's got huge notes of papaya, pineapple and sweet Ontario peaches (aka the Triple P).

We hit this big Double IPA with a crazy amount of Belma, Citra, Talus and Simcoe, all hops originating from the Pacific North-Western United States. The result is a treasure trove of dank citrus and sticky melon, with some tropical fruit and a unique berry vibe in the back end. We are very, very happy with this beer.

Big Money is a German style Pilsner brewed with a moderate malt backbone and a heavy dose of German Noble hops. It starts bready and lightly biscuity followed by spicy hop character and a finish that's a touch fruity. It's crisp and refreshing and goes down smooth.

Pretty Bird Hazy IPA was made to accentuate big fruit flavours from a combo of El Dorado, Citra, Rakau and Strata hops. The aroma of fresh squeezed oranges and peach juice jumps out of the glass, followed by flavours of sticky tropical fruit ending in a finish that's super smooth without being too sweet.

Super Dope is a West Coast IPA using a blend of Columbus, Citra, Centennial and Simcoe hops. Zesty lemon and lime lead the way and then an old school piney bitterness is met with a subtly sweet and uniquely dry punch that is exceptionally satisfying. It's a beer that pays homage to the days when dank IPAs reigned supreme but with an evolved drinkability and fruitiness that we love.

Sour Ale w/ Raspberries and Passionfruit, dry hopped with Mosaic and Sabro. AROMA: Hits you quick with the potent aromas of passionfruit and raspberry, followed by a quick hit of tropical citrus fruit, think tangerine and grapefruit - a result of the (heavier than usual for a sour) dry hop of Mosaic and Sabro APPEARANCE: Hazy pink, with a pillowy white head, looks kind of like a popsicle and I am here for it FLAVOUR: Listen - I'm not gonna sit here and say this tastes like anything different than what it is. Riding a heavy wave of passionfruit on a surfboard made of raspberries under bright lemony sunshine. A smile in a glass! MOUTHFEEL: Big, bold and cheek puckering, slightly higher carbonation, very refreshing!

Brewed with Ethiopian Adola coffee beans from Hale Coffee, based out of Toronto, ON. The coffee lends exceptional depth, and a slightly fruity flavour, it pairs really nicely with the existing flavours of roast, cocoa, and some slight slight licorice. Mild bitterness and slightly sweet.

Double IPA w/Mosaic, Citra and Idaho 7 AROMA: Peach?! Passionfruit?! Green Papaya?! Ooey Gooey overripe pineapple?! Double wheels has it all! APPEARANCE: Thick, opaque with a creamy white head FLAVOUR: Buckle up, we're going on a ride. On the sip, we start slow, with the tangy but nostalgic taste of fresh squeezed orange juice. As we move along, we ride a wave of thick emulsified pineapple, right before switching gears and diving into a tub of the intense taste of mango puree. As it washes over, a bit more tang, but it's passionfruit's time to shine. A slight but welcome bitterness ties the whole thing together. YUM. MOUTHFEEL: Ultra thick, just like we like our DIPA's...smooth, with light carbonation.

This is the second release of Close Talker and we are stoked on it. The Citra and Azacca lend their classic, reliable flavours of grassy citrus which is great, but then the Galaxy comes in and absolutely dunks on you with its intense passionfruit and guava and it's indescribable "Galaxy-ness". It's a great example of a New England Double IPA (in our opinion) and a tip o' the hat to the beers that inspired us to do what we do.

Chill as Frig is a fan favourite that we could not be more excited to be bringing back. We've tweaked the recipe slightly and brought up the ABV but the beer mostly remains the same. We started with a nice clean lager base using all Canadian Pilsner malt and then hopped it with New Zealand Motueka hops. The result is a super easy drinking yet flavourful lager with notes of zesty tropical fruit and lime.

Microdose is Town's signature Session IPA brewed with a heavy hand of Mosaic, Belma and Huell Melon hops. Ringing in at only 4.1%, it pours hazy and bright and smells of citrus, berries and honeydew. Full flavoured hoppy goodness, that's clean and crushable.

For Snicklefritz, we started with the familiar faces of Idaho 7, Citra and Mosaic hops and relied on them to provide a base to showcase the distinct flavours and aromas of New Zealand Rakau hops. Rakau is described as expressing the "whole orchard" and that translates over to this beer - you can find berry, passionfruit, pear and mango notes throughout, creating a super refreshing and crushable IPA. Enjoy!

Moderate amounts of clove and banana, with some very light vanilla at the end. The wheat adds a faint lemony flavour, and even though not overly typical for the style, the citrusy bite of mandarina bavaria adds a a touch more complexity. Dry.

Fantastic selection of beers and a good variety of snacks and food. The pizza was delicious! The space is large enough for big groups and the staff is very friendly. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area.

Great space and friendly staff. The beer was also good and the food was a nice complement to it. The cheese filled pretzel was the best! So fresh and warm with IPA mustard. I also tried the jalapeno Popper dip with chips. Would recommend popping in for beer and munchies. There was a constant stream of locals coming in to buy cans of beer so that's a good sign!

i cant begin to tell you how awesome their non alcoholic beers are. i stumbled across this place and ordered online. If their in person offerings are as good as online- which according to reviews seem to be... this place is well worth the visit. Tasty non alcoholic beers that taste like regular beer ..perhaps its time to get back to 5 percent and try some out. thanks Town .. good work!

Attended this brewery just a very short distance away from fishing at Whitby Martina. Ordered 2 beer flights listed from 1-8. I loved the lager and Pilsner, the Mrs was more into the IPA. The safe bet cider was also pretty good. Also ordered some pizza (sausage and pepper) and the Mediterranean. Both pizza were delicious and was a thicker crust, to help absorb the alcohol. Ordered a side of chips and guac, which I found a little plain. The atmosphere is relaxing with a mix of high tables and regular seating. Prices are fair and what makes it attractive to me. Overall I would return after some fishing close by.
