Sour Smash IPA

Collaboration between Vaycay Brewing x Burwood Distillery x Alberta Craft Alliance. A complex honey brown ale that invokes Ol' Fashioned cocktail characteristics. Malt complexity, medium bitterness, cinnamon and spice with hints of citrus and organic honey. The first release from the Alberta Craft Alliance series.

A light pale, hazy, French style wheat ale with spices that accentuate the yeast character. This delicate and refreshing summer ale finishes clean with bubbles for days.

Fantastic craft brewery making some fantastic brews. We stopped in for lunch and had a flight of some of their regular and seasonal ales, which were fantastic. Check out Toronto Whisky for the full details, and info on the distillery there too

We hadn't been to the brewery for months after a poor experience the first time with their management. The recent visit was much worse. We watched the young servers and hostess flounder, being totally overwhelmed with the number of tables they were forced to accommodate by the managers. In our section alone there were multiple tables waiting 20+ minutes to be acknowledged. Our server said it was her first week and she was asked to serve 40 + guests with little to no training. Instead of trying to help, the 2 managers (one man in a green suit, Irish accent) and another tall male manager scolded the hostess to the point of tears. The staff were overwhelmed, flustered and clearly drowning. This place doesn't have a staff problem, they have a HUGE management problem. We were disgusted with how our server and the others were treated. We won't support an establishment that treats their employees so poorly. FIRE YOUR MANAGEMENT.

EDIT: Had a poor initial experience here, but the owner reached out and went out of his way to give us a much better second experience. Really enjoyed the beer and gin flights, kimchi fries, and maple staple drink. Would definitely return!

Had drinks with a group on a busy Friday. The staff were pleasant, organized and attentive. The beer was good and the cocktail mixology was on point. The wings looked good and the Truffle fries were tasty.
