Vaycay Brewery at Currie Barracks in Calgary offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with an easygoing and friendly welcome. The open-plan layout provides views of the brewery, enhancing the experience. The pizza, especially the Queen Bee, is a must-try and highly recommended. With daily features, TVs, and good music, there's never a dull moment. The patio seating offers a refreshing outdoor option, while the large indoor seating area accommodates groups of all sizes. Plus, don't miss out on their happy hours for some great deals. Vaycay Brewery is definitely a go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable time.

Fantastic craft brewery making some fantastic brews. We stopped in for lunch and had a flight of some of their regular and seasonal ales, which were fantastic. Check out Toronto Whisky for the full details, and info on the distillery there too

Really disappointed. I wanted to love it here because the patio is so beautiful but we had terrible service. Took 20 minutes to get our first drink and we rarely saw our server. Food wasn't great and overpriced for some of it. $35 for a tiny plate of nachos was ridiculous. Ordered the guacamole and salsa which were $3 each and it was no more than a tbsp of each. Table was covered in dirty dishes and they were never removed either. Despite the beautiful location I don't think I'd come back.

Came here with my family for a birthday and we did not enjoy our experience unfortunately. It was a very sunny day and there were only 2 umbrellas covering us so half our party had sun blasting down on us which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable. When we brought this up to the manager (younger man in a grey suit), he said he didn't know what we were saying and that they couldn't provide extra shade. No one offered for us to eat inside or rearrange a table to have more shade. We had two kiddos under 3 with us and one newborn and no one working there seemed to care about the sun exposure. On top of that our meals were staggered EXTREMELY far apart. Half the tables food came 30 min after ordering and the other half had to wait TWO HOURS to be serve their meal. There were no apologies or accommodations for half our table taking two hours to be served. We didn't receive any cutlery until quite awhile after our meals were served and trying to flag down a server was next to impossible. I have never experienced this kind of lack of care or customer service. I had high hopes for this place as it was a recommendation by a family member but we were all disappointed by the service and lack of care by the staff. We were flabbergasted by the attitude given by the staff and management. We were made to feel like an inconvenience by just being there even though we were all quite patient waiting for our orders. I wish I could have spoken more highly of this place but after waiting two hours for a meal that was mediocre and overpriced I would expect some compensation but instead was made to feel like we were a bother. I would not come back unfortunately.

This was such a cute stop in our weekend! With a vibe feeling like a tropical all-inclusive, the bartender was warm and engaging. Hubby had a hazy IPA he quite enjoyed, and I sipped happily on "gin" based Mocktail! Definitely will make a point of coming back soon!
