The saison that you will not soon forget, reinvented as a SMOOTHIE! The complex clove and pepper spiced notes of a traditional saison provide the backdrop to a tremendous amount of fresh, tart raspberry purée, added immediately before canning, and left unfermented to lend their full flavour and juiciness. Keep cold, drink fresh.

Wet hopping is a late September tradition for brewers. Picking hops off the vine and putting them straight into the kettle. Our West coast style IPA was brewed with a generous blend of wet Nugget, Cascade and Chinook hops which creates a fresh, grassy and fruity aroma. Flavours are citrusy, pithy and piney. This is as fresh as an IPA can be!
Inaugural Batch: Sunday, September 28, 2014

Introducing FADE, a haze-bomb of enormous ripe tropical fruit and juicy stone fruit flavours. This New England style double IPA is liberally dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic, and looks (and tastes!) like juice in your glass. A beer this good demands a label to match, and we loved the art @alexsappy created for our SHARE stout so much, we knew we had to ask him to draw this one too! 7.5% ABV
Inaugural Batch: Wednesday, July 22, 2020

Like a sonnet, this black lager is brief yet impactful - though a mere 4.5% ABV, it spins an expressive lament in dark malts and clean lager yeast.

You may know our REAPER oatmeal stout, but as the nights get cold and the leaves turn colour, that smooth, roasted stout takes a GRIM turn. That same stout now plays host to cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger, providing all the warmth of pumpkin pie.
Inaugural Batch: Friday, October 11, 2013

    Pumpkin / Yam Beer |
    6.2% Alcohol/Vol. |

The HOTTEST pumpkin beer of the season. One often hears pumpkin pie spices described as “warming.” But this hazy, generously hopped IPA sees the warmth of that classic combination of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove, and moves beyond it with the addition of real fresh habanero peppers. This won’t just warm you up - it’ll heat you up.

Hopheads and hotheads unite! We turned the heat up on our iconic IPA. Hopped generously, this hazy IPA earns its name with fruity aromas, and a slightly bitter, white wine finish, with notes of grapefruit and citrus, which plays a necessary counterpoint to the INTENSE heat of the habanero peppers.
Inaugural Batch: Thursday, August 27, 2015

Love bringing a Brew Bus bus full of craft heads to 5 Paddles. Rod and his crew are great and it's a great stop for a brewery with food in Durham Region!

I have no clue why you'd label this bitter can Home Sweet home - Honey Vanilla Wheat. There is NO FLAVOUR of honey or vanilla. Just bitter ipa like taste. Yuck drink and false marketing

Interesting story behind the name. New owners so maybe still getting settled? Limited supplies for take-out orders. One of the historically popular beers was not being canned. I was there for 20 - 25 min and 2 customers left empty handed. I sampled the 'In Your Face'. Pleasant, easy-drinking. 2.8/5. I would buy it again

My wife bought me In Your Face IPA while she was at the market in Collingwood the other week. I enjoyed it while cooking dinner. Very nice taste and flavour. Not too hoppy. I'm from Whitby so it was nice to try a local brewery from my home town. I will have to drop in the next time I'm visiting to try a flight of different beverages.

Bring a canoe or kayak if you like, but you'll have trouble docking it on asphalt. Just leave the quality beer making and awesomesauce to the genuine folks at 5 Paddles Brew Co. Peanut Butter Godiva was a great suggestion by the genuine staff. TY! Great experience!
