    IPA - Imperial / Double |
    8.8% Alcohol/Vol. |
    100 IBU (Intense Bitterness)
During the heyday of the British Empire, India Pale Ale was born as a strong pale ale brewed especially to endure the rigors of the long journey to the colonies. In order to guard against spoilage, I.P.A. was brewed with a high alcohol content and with liberal amounts of hops, which act as a natural preservative. This ale's golden amber colour only hints at its full-bodied flavour. Its sumptuous maltiness is tempered by a goodly amount of bitterness and a mouth-filling hop flavour. In order to finish our I.P.A. with a truly fresh hop bouquet, we dry hop this ale in the serving tank with both East Kent Goldings and Mount Hood hops.

    35 IBU (Gentle Bitterness)
If you’re no longer scared of the dark, then there’s no reason to be afraid of our stout. A generous portion of rolled oats and lots of black roasted barley give this beer a warm, roasted nose, and a distinct dryness that succumbs to waves of lingering satisfaction.

    Stout - White / Golden |
    5.1% Alcohol/Vol. |
    33 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
Steamworks White Stout takes the rich typical stout flavours and body imparted from oats and barley, but without the dark coloured, roasted malts traditionally used in a stout. Instead, these roasted notes come from first aging the beer with whole espresso beans from East Vancouver’s Pallet Coffee, and then with whole cacao beans from East Van Roasters. The result is a deliciously unexpected brew that pours light gold with a thick white head.

I recently visited my favorite spot in downtown, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The food is absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that cater to every taste. What really sets this place apart is the staff they are so friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you're dining with friends or family, this is the perfect spot for a great meal and even better company. Highly recommend!

Steamworks Brewery is a fantastic spot, especially when it comes to food. We usually order the Tuscan Pizza and Steamworks Burger, and both never disappoint. The Tuscan Pizza has a perfect blend of flavors, and the burger is always cooked to perfection. If you're looking for something to share, the nachos are a must-trygreat portion size, and they taste amazing. The service is generally good, particularly on less busy nights when the staff can give you that extra bit of attention. The location is also a major plus, offering a stunning view of the water and Canada Place. The atmosphere and decor are really nice, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you're there for the food, the view, or the ambiance, Steamworks Brewery is sure to impress.

A great place to go to have a sit down meal enjoying the scenery (large windows) and the unique vibe this place offers. I ordered the seafood chowder which was okay but wish I had ordered the beer soup (with chicken) after having a taste of my hubs. The beer is cold and quite a selection, will be visiting again before our departure. The restrooms are down a spiral staircase - not sure if they have an elevator. Addendum: we went back for dinner tonight (Monday evening) and hubs ordered Tuscan pizza and I ordered the healthy option of salmon green goddess bowl. The pizza was phenomenal (one of the best we have had anywhere). Mine wasn't bad either but would have devoured the pizza if I had ordered. The best bonus of the night was our new friend/server/waiter Lane who was extremely helpful with brews, recommendations for us for tomorrow's outing at Victoria Island. He truly is a great human being, extremely kind to visitors esp from US. Thanks Lane!!! LEO! Love one another. Hope to see you again someday. One last note - the Kolsch brew option is great for the lager lovers.

Amazing in every aspect. Food was very nice and cooked to perfection, fast friendly and genuinely nice service, good selection of drinks and options of pints or tasters available, location is easy to find and in the heart of downtown. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Highly recommended. Children also welcome.

We loved it and stopped in for an IPA a second time. Our first time, there was a very happy group of people celebrating their convention. Even the bartender commented that they were lively. We found another room that was not as noisy and listened to their cheering. There are many different levels, including an indoor and outdoor serving area, as well as the rooms in the downstairs. The food looks amazing. This is in a picturesque part of town, especially the view from the water and the train station at night.
