3.5 on Untappd.During the heyday of the British Empire, India Pale Ale was born as a strong pale ale brewed especially to endure the rigors of the long journey to the colonies. In order to guard against spoilage, I.P.A. was brewed with a high alcohol content and with liberal amounts of hops, which act as a natural preservative. This ale's golden amber colour only hints at its full-bodied flavour. Its sumptuous maltiness is tempered by a goodly amount of bitterness and a mouth-filling hop flavour. a week agoStopped in for dinner on an extremely busy weekend. We were seated within minutes of arriving. Our server was super friendly, ordered the Steamworks Burger, very flavourful, good size portion. Definitely recommended if you're in Gastown for a visit.

a month agoThe place is lively and fun, great spot for drinks and conversation, not to loud but just enough to create a good fun atmosphere. Food was base pub food, Chicken burger over cooked and tasted like the oil needed to be replaced, regular burger was really good, wings were decent. Service was great, server was quick and attentive. I'll go back for drinks and try something else, worth a second go

What really sets this place apart is the staff they are so friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you're dining with friends or family, this is the perfect spot for a great meal and even better company. Highly recommend!

4 months agoSteamworks Brewery is a fantastic spot, especially when it comes to food. We usually order the Tuscan Pizza and Steamworks Burger, and both never disappoint. The Tuscan Pizza has a perfect blend of flavors, and the burger is always cooked to perfection. If you're looking for something to share, the nachos are a must-trygreat portion size, and they taste amazing. The service is generally good, particularly on less busy nights when the staff can give you that extra bit of attention. The location is also a major plus, offering a stunning view of the water and Canada Place. The atmosphere and decor are really nice, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you're there for the food, the view, or the ambiance, Steamworks Brewery is sure to impress.

a week agoWe stopped in after our cruise, so glad we did. The food was amazing, a large variety of vegetarian options if you are so inclined. Highly recommend eating here.
