Nestled within the Rocky hills of the escarpment along the Black Creek, there was a tiny settlement known as Fountain Green. In the 1840's industry grew and the railway ran through and smoke could be seen rising from the large stone kilns producing "Lime". Naturally, the community became known as Lime house. The kilns can still be seen today along the beautiful Bruce Trail. Hike on in to Furnace Room Brewery and enjoy our own "fountain of green" hop-centric aromatic Double IPA.

I've walked by and taken the train but never noticed this joint! This is the best accidental find! Was looking for a cold one and instead found a lovely hangout. Board games, great beer and good food while the kids had a blast colouring and playing with toys on the rug. Sour ale (cherry ale) was good but the IPA took the win while the ale was a close third. We met some likeminded people and had a great evening, while the management and staff are lovely folks who made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back here with more of my friends!

Wow! Blown away by the level of service I received at FRB, from start to finish. I arranged a surprise party for my husband and used FRB as the venue. It was my first time booking the space for an event; I stumbled upon it really, because before this point I didn't even realise they hired their space! We had exclusive use of the upstairs area and it couldn't have been more perfect! Nicole is the event coordinator. Her approach is detailed and her influence is calming. She responded promptly and had some great insights / ideas to help with planning the party. Thank you Nicole! On the night we had the manager Nikki and also Erin looking after us. A big shout out to these two wonderful humans! Everything ran so smoothly all night. No task was too much and I really felt like they cared that we had the best time. Last, but most certainly not least, huge thank you to the chefs that night (my apologies I don't know your names)! The food was incredibly tasty and literally every single one of my guests loved it! You knocked it out of the park and I thank you for an amazing night. I would highly recommend your space to anyone planning a party, and also just in a general sense, as a place to chill and drink good craft beer

My husband and I have been long time customers of Furnace Brewery since it opened and the beer was always great. They also have fun nights like comedy and trivia which really helps to bring the community together. However since the new management has taken over we've been so impressed with the new attention to detail by the manager Nikki. She's added things to the brewery like a baby changing table (a must for us because we have two little ones and like to bring them with us when we come for a pint), some puzzles for kids and board games for adults. It really makes it feel like more than just a place where you get your beer. I decided to host my husband's surprise 35th Birthday at Furnace and we were so lucky because the brewery has finally gotten food!!! We had an amazing night trying the new menu. Nikki, and the servers Chantel and Riley took such amazing care of us. The drinks and the food were flowing and everyone commented on how great the vibe was and how much fun they had. Try out Furnace for a quick pint or for a whole evening with family and friends, you won't regret it!

Great staff and tasty beer! Really like the upstairs loft seating area and old fashioned decor. I had the Chicken Man pale ale. Great hop flavour without the bitterness, golden colour with a slight floral sweetness to it. My wife had the boysenberry sour. Fruit forward with a lot of berry flavours, also tasted a little creamy like they added some lactose. Delicious!
