WOW. This is the first word that was said when we found Fahr. If you are a beer drinker, enthusiast or even if you're not, you will LOVE Fahr Brewery! We visited here twice on our trip to Jasper from Tennessee. Let's start with the staff. Julie went above and beyond to serve our family. I have visited many breweries over my lifetime and Julie was the most warm and welcoming server we have ever met! We haven't even gotten to the beer yet! Now the beer, WOW! We found out that their Hefe was a world champion Hefe. I'm not a huge Hefe fan, but it was delicious. The Pils, Copper and the Munich were my favorites. These beers were just so clean and crisp with full malt flavors showing thru. Their pretzels are amazing as well. We also picked up a loaf of the sour dough also. I so wish I lived near this brewery as this is hands down the best true German brewery I have every visited. I was lucky enough to have also met the owner and a head brewer Jochen. I see why this place is so amazing. He is definitely a true craftsman and gentleman! He gave me a personal tour of the Brewhouse and it was exactly what I expected from someone like him. Thank you again to everyone at Fahr that made our trip that much more enjoyable!!

The best Hefeweizen made locally in Canada for sure! The Munich and October ones are pretty close, too (when in season). The staff is amazing, the yard is great for the kids to play at, and the Canada Day little music fest was quite enjoyable.

Some of the best beer on the planet! Where to begin..... the Hefe is to die for, the Munich is a chocolatey delicious treat, and it kills me to say it.... the Pilsner is phenomenal. Julie (the Taproom Manager) and her crew make you feel like home the minute you get there! If you've been there more than a couple times they remember you, and your beer is poured before you even get tot he counter. The beer is top notch and the people make it better!

Yes yes yes!we've been looking for a hidden gem, and found it here. Talked to Julie, and she brought such a knowledge and positive experience to our visit with friends. The hef is a must, which apparently has won world awards. The copper is also a 10, which also has a resume of achievement. We took a couple back home with us. Do not miss this stop if you're travelling west, or even in Calgary! Worth the visit. Stops like this is why I love google reviews. Update: I will add that the 6 copper cans I bought, most lost pressure and went flat within a few days. I emailed Fahr to advise and have not heard back- one week later. Beer is great, but this requires attention.
