We had our wedding here on October 12, 2024 including our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our day was absolutely perfect and we owe that to Ashley & Ernie for working with us to plan + execute it. Ernie + Ashley were responsive, informative, and transparent with our contract. Their event package is full of flexible options and is affordable. On the day of, Ashley was organized and professional. All she required were inspiration photos and she made the ceremony and reception stunning with our florals and decor. The service was impeccable all night - I felt very taken care of as the bride and our guests said the same. There was never a line up for drinks despite having 80 people in the room. I continue to get compliments on the brisket! The DJ kept the party going by reading the room. Dustin + Tara also made the evening run well including an easy + effortless clean up the next day. The only feedback I have received is that the cocktail hour in the basement was loud. Thank you so much Trolley 5 for our perfect day!

I have photographed a few weddings at Trolley 5 now and cannot recommend this venue enough! The building itself has so many great photo opportunities, the lighting and decor are both incredible and well thought out. Staff are attentive, food is always delicious and the atmosphere is amazing!

This restaurant caught our attention when driving down 17th and when we looked up the menu, appreciated the fun they had with it (Biggie Small Bites, You Win Sum You Dim Sum, etc). It's a large place with the brewery in the basement, restaurant on the main floor and it looked like upstairs was for special events. Once seated they brought samples of an inhouse beer they made which we declined (not beer drinkers but like pub style food). I had Chef Jeremiah's Adobo Bowl which featured Filipino styled chicken, garlic fried rice, soft boiled egg, green onion and pickled vegetables. It tasted really good but my bowl was noticeably much emptier than my wife's bowl and I didn't notice any of the crispy garlic chips. My wife had the Buddha Tofu Bowl which had crispy tofu, carrots, beets, cabbage, avocado, cucumber, rice, gravy and peanut butter lime. The tofu was really well done as I stole a piece and usually don't appreciate it. Drink refills were slow and overall service was just OK.

Unfortunately the beer I wanted to order and that was listed on the menu and the current beer blackboard, was not available. The IPA was ok, not one of my favorites. My partners Tuna Bowl was quite good, my brisket sandwich not so much. Ok in terms of sod pub food, but for this highly praised, downtown brewery location, a bit of a let down. Staff was friendly and the service was prompt. All in all, a just ok place.

Each time I visit Trolley 5 I find a reason to come back for more! The food, drinks and service are exceptional! I love trying new beer, and the bartender was so helpful and knowledgeable allowing me to taste a few of their newest creations! I ended up ordering the Green Tea Lager which was delicious!! At the recommendation of the server, I tried the soup dumplings and they were SO GOOD! I'll definitely be coming back for those alone!! I always love coming here. 10/10 all around!
