    IPA - American |
    6.8% Alcohol/Vol. |
    68 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
Evil Corporation Brewing's Initial Public Offering IPA is a robust West Coast Ale typical of the style. It is well balanced leaving a refreshing note on the palate with subtle malt forward and sweet undertones. Brewed with Citra, Crystal and Magnum hops to give it it's distinctive flavour, it is also dry hopped for ten days using the same hop profile even using the Magnum instead of more floral varieties as is the norm.

Once you get past the citrus aroma, you can expect a juicy overtone from our signature NEIPA. A vivid yellow nectar is only accentuated by its cloudy appearance and the flavours uniquely combine to set the perfect balance between hop and grain. Unlike nepotism which is the scourge of the corporate world, you can rest assured that this beer got to where it is on nothing but merit. Hops: Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic, Amarillo

Our Pale Ale pours a vivid golden colour with a sturdy, effervescent head. The initial sweetness is brought on by the use of caramel malts and balanced by the hop profile. Cascade hops are used to enhance the aroma with elements of citrus and grapefruit shining through.

A full-bodied porter with chocolate/caramel character that is well balanced by a clean bitterness and mildly floral/spicy aroma. A beer that is as delicious as the Ponzi Scheme is devious.

    Pilsner - German |
    5.5% Alcohol/Vol. |

As a traditional German Pilsner should, this beer has a subtle bitterness that gently nudges you in the tastebuds to let you know it’s still there. Clean, crisp and clear this staple of the European beer drinker finally comes to EvilCorp. There is no better example of someone who exemplifies all attempts to shatter the Glass Ceiling as our founder, Melanie Jackson, nee Glas. It seemed appropriate to lend her family name to a beer worthy of her reputation.

Speak to anyone in business (or government), and they’ll say that a Monopoly is never a good thing. However, a Monhopoly is entirely different. We don’t want to possess or control the beer market, that would be crazy. We merely wish to ‘transition competitors’ out of the market and ‘compassionately govern’ every aspect of the industry. Evil Corporation feels that the best way to an absolute Monhopoly is to produce such fantastic beer that consumers simply won’t have a choice but to consume our delicious take on a hop-laden West Coast IPA.

Churchill coined the term, ‘Sum of All Fears.’ He posited that no matter how brave people are, when brought together and stripped of their roles, what remains is a shared human experience, often characterized by fear and vulnerability. Our Plum Sour comes with no sense of foreboding. The aroma, a fusion of ripe plums and tartness, lures you in but gives way to a sweet aftertaste that only real fruit gives you. This isn’t just a beer but a journey where every sip confronts the ‘sum of all fears’ with a defiant taste of resilience. ‘Plum of All Fears’ isn’t just a plum sour - it's a testament to facing the unknown with a bold spirit and toasting fears we conquer with each daring gulp.

Just like a diamond or the sweet caffeinated nectar from the coffee bean, it takes enormous pressure and, sometimes in life, strife to distill the very best into something extraordinary. Our Quaffee Ale, brewed with our friends at Calgary Heritage Roasting Company, is the perfect tribute to one of our founders, Quan Ly. Quan was born in an Indonesian refugee camp before moving to Canada with his family. The result of that hardship is the rare embodiment of things that do not surrender to pressure and adversity but thrive on it to elevate themselves and everyone around them. We all grab a morning cup o’ joe to give us the energy, drive and focus we need to get through the day. If there are three words in the dictionary more suitable to describe Quan than those, we haven’t read them yet.

We visited the brewery last week for the first time and were really impressed. Nice environment, great beer selection and cool "glasses" - beakers. We liked every beer but our favourites were coffee porter and coconut porter. We had the pleasure to meet one of the co-owners and even got a small tour. Enjoyed it very much and can't wait to be back for a cold one on their patio. Ps: very friendly staff!!!

Review for Evil Corporation Brewing Evil Corporation Brewing is a fantastic spot for craft beer enthusiasts in Calgary. The brewery offers a wide range of creative and delicious beers, each with its own unique flavor profile. Their taproom has a modern, edgy vibe, complemented by friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always ready to recommend the perfect pint. The atmosphere is laid-back and fun, making it an ideal venue for casual hangouts or small gatherings. It's also a great choice for eventsour cribbage meetup there was a hit, thanks to the brewery's welcoming environment and excellent brews. One standout feature is the brewery's proximity to great food options. You can order from local delivery services like SkipTheDishes or stroll over to the neighboring brewery for some amazing pizza, creating a perfect pairing with your drinks. Whether you're a craft beer connoisseur or just looking for a chill spot to unwind, Evil Corporation Brewing delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend checking it out! Rating:

With the mercy killing of Elite/Paradise Brewing earlier this year this is likely the worst microbrewery left in Calgary. Test tubes and beakers make perfect sense if the microbrewery has a chemistry theme (e.g., [Theoretically] Brewing in Lethbridge), but Evil Corporation Brewing seems to have some sort of corporate finance theme, which even I, a personal finance geek who watches BNN Bloomberg daily, idolizes Warren Buffett/David Chilton/Gail Vaz-Oxlade, and who reads financial statements in their spare time (see photo), can't get into. The dcor here also makes little sense - It's not as bad as Paradise's wretched "Jimmy Buffett/Cheeseburger in Paradise" theme, but close. Uninspired brews, and the service is agonizingly slow each time I've been. Certainly not worth visiting, especially with other far superior microbreweries (e.g., Dandy, Eighty-Eight, and Cold Garden) all within walking distance.

A great eclectic spot to enjoy some awesome beers served in really cool glassware. The decor is minimalist but very cool. It's a whole experience when you enjoy their excellent choices of rotating taps.

The vibe is so cool! We spoke with one of the owners the first time we visited and he was so excited about a lot of the hidden messages / meanings. And the fun of the beer names relating to the evilness that can be corporations ;) The beers are quite tasty - they have a challenging super spicy one I'm not brave enough to try - but enjoy watching others do. :) Non-alcoholic selection was nice too! The hibiscus lemonade (with ice!) was so good! Can't wait to visit again soon!!
