First night in town and we got in later than expected which caused a slight panic regarding kitchens being closed! Not only did we find an open kitchen, we also found some amazing pizza!!!!!!!! I was so enamored I forgot to take a picture until halfway through. Thin crust, nice and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning, topped with high quality ingredients and a great balance of sauce and cheese The service was prompt and on point answering all questions and providing helpful information, and the atmosphere was social and filled with laughter. The Black Pils beer was delicious and I look forward to trying more of their beers while we're here

Very friendly staff. Ordered a beer flight and wasn't sure which ones to pick, so the server helped me and chose a big variety, and they were all delicious. Burger was really good and I would definitely go back.

This is a brewery and there's beer. It's generic beer, but beer it is. You're coming here because the vibe is great and the staff is nice. Expect to pay $20 or more per plate of food, or even over $30 for pizza. The taproom is on the first floor while food and a full bar is on the second. You're better off trying somewhere else for drinks unless you're here for the first time and just want to drink something with your fun.

Shout out to a server called MaKenna, who tried to embarrass my party from Europe, but only embarrassed herself. No server is entitled to tips. End of conversation. It took 15 minutes for a party of three to get a beer, a sour and a margarita. Asking every 25 minutes if we need another drink is not exceptional service. I decide when I tip, and I tip when exceptional service is given. To have this server come back after we paid and explain "why we tip here" because she assumed my friends were out of town (both European, one has been working here a year, the other is actually on holiday), and basically complain and beg for a tip is outrageous. She's got some balls. You are not entitled to a tip from any customer, Canadian or foreign. Ever. If you don't make enough money in your serving job, get another one. Or a second job. I don't care. It's not my problem. Banff Ave Brew Company, train your staff with some decorum. Your staff member MaKenna should be ashamed and embarrassed, and I would be too to know she represents my company. Won't be coming back for a while (after all I've lived in Banff for 18 months, I know plenty of other bars with better staff to spend my money in). Do better.

Great food, we were hungry so didn't get a pic of the absurdly cheap chicken Parm on special before deciding most of it. Pizza great too. Beer was fantastic, great variety available even within categories, and high quality
