5 months agoThis is a great place to visit. Whether you take advantage of their great patio or inside space the atmosphere is laid back and easy. The ordering process is a tad strange as they want you to use a QR code on your table, or you can order from the bar, or order from a server. It's a bit confusing but the beer selection is vast and the food is tasty.

a week agoWhile I was grateful to secure a reservation just a day prior, my experience fell short due to the staff's hurried demeanor. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were being rushed through the meal. The waitstaff frequently checked in, but rather than creating a welcoming atmosphere, it added to the sense of urgency. As a result, I struggled to fully enjoy my meal and drink. I appreciate attentive service, but this felt more like a countdown than a relaxed dining experience.

3 months agoI've been to Beyond the Pale a couple of times now - great beers and a nice big patio to enjoy with friends! I enjoyed the taco and cauliflower wings I tried out, also - very enjoyable and portion size was satisfying. I appreciated the efficiency of their ordering system (placing orders through the phone) - this made for a much quicker experience than trying to chase down a server for ordering and payment on a very busy night (Sea Shanty Collective night - do check that out! It's fabulous!). I appreciated that on a quieter evening there was table service.

6 months agoBest hangout place in Ottawa if you're looking to grab a cold one & just chill. Their patio space is great & their food menu is worth it! The poutine is a must! Always great vibes

5 months agoOne of my favourite spots in Ottawa. The patio is great in the summer, the interior is nice, and the beers are delicious. I recommend the Yummy which can also be bought in LCBO's. Also, the cauliflower tacos for $9 really hit the spot!
