Dry-Hopped Pilsner

A belgian styled table beer. Lower alcohol to enhance drinkability with added oat flakes to add body. Notes of citrus and fresh herbs.

Mild Lockout is a German-style Helles Lager brewed with almost entirely Barke Pilsner malt, lagered for just north of 6 weeks and naturally carbonated. Helles is meant to be a beer of restraint: malt and hops working together, but not overpowering one another, to create a balanced and drinkable yet flavourful beer. Pouring with a tight foam, Mild Lockout’s aroma of light, toasty bread and cracked grain combine with a subtle, spicy noble hop character to bring this sought after balance to life. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

And then there were 2. Or in this case 12. With the continued effort of making beer with the best possible balance of flavour and drinkability meet 12 Swans. 12 Swans is a pale ale brewed and dry-hopped with Mosaic and Columbus. Mosaic is a standout hop for us - its prominent blue and red berry characteristics make it different. And different is good. Pouring a moderately hazy and bright yellow to gold colour, this pale ale has a full mouthfeel and soft carbonation with notes of blueberry, mango, melon and citrus on the nose. This follows through on the mouth with a slight, balanced bitterness that falls off for a clean finish. Keep cold and drink fresh.

Our take on an Italian style Pilsner. Lagered for 6 weeks and dry-hopped with Saaz and Bobek, this balanced, hop forward pils is floral, herbaceous and clean with a soft carbonation to round it out.

Vermont Honk is a pale ale dry-hopped with El Dorado, Huell Melon, Idaho 7, and Sabro. Huge notes of stone fruits and pineapple at the forefront with subtle notes of coconut and bubble gum.

Cold conditioned for 5 weeks and dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Barbe Rouge, this unfiltered Kölsch drinks clean and exhibits qualities of Welch’s fruit candy, grass and biscuit-y malt.

West Coasty-y Pale Ale

Ah… To Be Young is a Hoppy Wheat Lager brewed to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Naturally carbonated and lagered for just under 5 weeks, ATBY was given a generous dry hop of Ella and Loral resulting in a beer with notes of light stone fruit, candied peach and field grass with a subtle bitterness to round it out.

My favourite new brewery in the city. The beer is great. The food is fantastic and the service is terrific. They're friendly and knowledgeable and help create such a great atmosphere. I love the whole vibe of the place from the custom wallpaper to the decorations. I'm a huge fan.

There is only one pub of two nearby I am willing to go if I want a drink or 4 to unwind from busy work stretches. If they're both closed I go home because nothing beats the craft &care these folks provide in their service every time! They have an amazing (and small) selection of snacks & more filling dishes, always served to consistent satisfaction & perfection. The menu changes seasonally and there is a fridge with seasonally changing options if you just want to stop by for a smile and some cans to bring home. My favorite wheat beer to date exists only on tap here, there's always money in the banana stand' comparable to sidelaunch wheat but if sidelaunch wheat were to have birthed baby Jesus in beer form. That's THB for you, I have been spoiled with their standards. They're also extremely humble and they treat you like the neighbours you wish were your actual neighbours who live next door. There's trivia nights on recent Tuesdays most weeks too!

Some of the best beer and chill vibes in the city. We did our baby shower here, and I've hung out here with friends and family more than anywhere in the city now at this point. The beer is top notch, on par with Bellwoods though entirely different styles. The vibes are super chill, good music and the decor is really cool. Proud new member of cruisers club. If you love Euro / German style beer this place is a must visit / travel to destination.

Checked out the new food spot operating within True History Brewing this weekend, Beisl is modern Viennese. The two salads were out of this world a whipped goats cheese and beet + traditional potato with cucumber, seasoning absolutely on point. The homemade aromatic lamb sausages are delicious, unique and incredibly juicy with mustard and horseradish and don't skip the crispy cheese and pork schnitzel! Perfect elevated comfort food to accompany the great beer list and chilled scenery 10/10 Highly recommend

Pet and child friendly place! We had our 10th month old baby and dog, and sat on their patio. The Vibe was good and chill, German beers and snacks were great, service was excellent! Had the Salmon crudo and their donairsooo good!
