Malt Forward with a light biscuity character. Hints of toffee and caramel smoothed out to a refreshing earthy finish backed with an assertive “get off my lawn” bitterness.

Sunny Days Are Ahead! A crisp and refreshing light Belgian style wheat beer made with fresh limes and added coriander for a spicy balance. Best enjoyed ice cold!

Bursting with bright citrus and mango This is thirst quencher with all of the punch of full hop flavour and not just bitterness, it’s almost paradoxical!

With inspiration pulled from the West Indies. This tropical stout inspires visions of warmer days with it’s sweet aroma and flavours of chocolate covered espresso beans from the roasted barley and added demerara sugar.

This is not just a Lager. Like the inside workings of a clock there is so much more than meets the eye. All of the moving parts that make up what is almost always falsely assumed of being simple. Rushing in with a roar of bright fresh lemon zest, entangled with a wispy light herbal centre rolling into a crisp dry finale. Is this just a Lager? Or pure refreshing complexity.

Clean, crisp and sooo refreshing. With a slight floral aroma made with Sasquatch hops, the first ever patented all Canadian Hop. Sasquatch Cream Ale is the perfect pairing for any adventure!

dry irish stout base. Add in over 200 oysters to the boil made with a smoked scotch malt. You get a delicious stout with a little brine and a little smoke flavours. Cheers!

A cold weather crusher! Made with a blend of black and rye malt, a burst of rich roasted coffee notes take over at the first sip, but once it starts warming it opens itself up to more mouthwatering dark cocoa aromas and a bitter earthy finish.

Sometimes we break tradition around here... and then sometimes... we don't. Piney, grapefruit, citrus, Dank. Bare bones and no tricks. We stuck to the books with this to bring you a traditional West Coast style IPA. Cheers!

500mL 7.5%Aged for 1 year in Basil Hayden Bourbon Barrels . Rich, sweet and malty with dark fruit flavours with a hint of spice and warm finish from the bourbon.

Belgian Tripel that has been elegantly aged for 6 months in Oak Chardonnay barrels. Pours a brilliant golden colour with aromatics of toasted oak and Belgian spiciness,. A delicate balance of Chardonnay . All great beer takes time, and this beer is well worth the wait.

That end of summer magic that is the sunset. And baskets and bushels of fresh ripe juicy Peaches at every storefront. The morning air is getting a little crisper, the afternoon breeze is still warm and there's nothing like a good peach.

Honeydew and Mango flowing together in a harmonious flavour profile. The bite of an American IPA with a vibrant backdrop of citrus hops. Kind of like an IPA crossed with a Belgian Tripel. Sound good? Yeah it does! Let us know what you think!

An awesome little brewery with a laid back atmosphere! They have a nice little selection of beers (sours, lagers, IPAs, pilsners and barrel aged beers). They have board games and are dog friendly.

Great beer and live music that just makes your day so much better. Stop in for a pint or for an afternoon at one of Toronto's best breweries!

This place is great. The beer is really good , and the atmosphere is layed back and cozy. Feels a bit like being on a holiday in the middle of the city.

Very cool atmosphere, large accessible washroom, and great beers. You have to walk off of Queen E a bit but very much worth the discovery of this great Brewery. Staff were very fast and friendly. Definitely a must try for any beer lover! Some board games and cards are available for use.

Happy 5th Anniversary to the Saulter Street Brewery!!! A lovely spot just south of Queen East. a good variety of beers - with staples like Riverside Copper Pilsner or Whirs&Clanks Japanese Style Lager and seasonal short run series. The place is fully open now: with a classy indoor space and two patios (facing south and east). The south patio is really great for this time of the year (fall) as even when temperature drops it is still warm there and so nice to catch a few more rays of sun before cooler and cloudier days arrive. Staff is very attentive, friendly and knows their products very well. There is no kitchen per se, but some snacks are offered (cheese and meet boards, corn chips with guacamole, or patties). A nice quiet alternative to sidewalk seating: you really won't see (or hear) any cars here apart from the parked ones and an occasional resident returning home. a great place to have a birthday party. the original post from 2 years ago (2020) the bottle shop is open through covid-19 which is wonderful. the place is a bit hard to find at first but it is definitely worth the effort. a good variety of brews. Sadly, the Life's is a Hazy Beach IPA, picture, is out of stock (it was a limited time edition I had learned) but the Spring Chicken Maibock (6%) and Riverside Pilsner (5%) are very tasty too. Overall I find the Saulter Street Brewery beers very good and of high quality, while not overly heavy on strange/unusual flavours that afflict some craft products. during the pandemic payment is by debit/credit only (unless their terminal is down then they take cash). the prices are very reasonable, with regular tall boy cans slightly above $3 and smaller cans below $3. I highly recommend this place and I am very happy to support it in this difficult time. I can't wait for the end of restrictions to go and visit the tap room as well.
