Event Horizon is a rich, chocolatey stout with a smooth mocha head. This roasty brew is the perfect combination of all-encompassing darkness and pleasant caramel sweetness. It’s like if Willy Wonka and Lord Voldemort had an illegitimate child… and that child was beer.

Our exclusively Mosaic-hopped IIPA. Exploding with aromas of over-ripe blueberry, pineapple, and candied orange. Flavours of peach, dank pine, and hints of citrus merge and complement the full and boozy mouthfeel like a hop oil enriched fruit pulp. Clean, pithy finish.

    78 IBU (Intense Bitterness)
Amplified by a pungent papaya and stone fruit aroma and character, this dialed-up, citra-fueled hop machine is out of control. Although intense, the haywire hops are balanced with a smooth mouthfeel, residual sweetness, and an upfront caramel richness. The machine always prevails.

An IPA with no IBUs, what nonsense is this? Crash Space is an IPA in the same vein as New Wave but balanced purely through the polyphenols imparted by dry hopping where all hop additions are done at cooler temperatures. This hazy IPA features a huge peach aroma and tropical citrus flavours from Vic Secret, Azacca, and El Dorado hops. Extra wheat and oats give it a soft, smooth body. Finishes with a clean pithy bitterness.

Making a unique imperial stout has been a long-time goal for us: Meet Fallen Empire, a gargantuan, chewy, intense, mole/mayan-style imperial stout. This confluence of cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, and four kinds of chili peppers presents as Mayan chocolate in beer form. With a nose of subtle cinnamon, flavours of chocolate and vanilla, and a rich dessert-like mouthfeel, Fallen Empire ends with a fiery flourish of spicy chilis that quickly fades into the depths of history.

A nose of fresh lemon zest mingled with rich vanilla. Mouth puckering upfront citrus eases into smooth and sweet vanilla notes, reminiscent of lemon meringue pie. Lemon Shapeshifter++ combines cut and zested lemons, lemon concentrate and hops selected to further punch those citrus qualities — we've then balanced those brighter notes with the deep earthy qualities of Madagascar vanilla and the sweetness of lactose.

Yet another fruited Shapeshifter, this time with the very jammy vibes of Black Currant. Overtones of dark fruit, popsicle, and grapefruit mingle in the aroma and flavour. Tart, mildly tanic, balanced with a light sweetness. Grapey-grapefruit black currant jam.

100 Pts. is a deep ruby colour with a frothy white head. Its rich colour comes from sour cherries which complement the dark, fruit flavours that dubbels are known for. This is an excellent beer for people who think they don't like beer, people who love beer unconditionally, and people who like obscure video game references from the 1980s.

Probably the best sour beers I've had. The lagers and IPA were top-flight too. The chips + pico were the perfect snack. Add the cozy, bike-friendly neighbourhood to the mix and you've got an ideal little local brewery.

Cute little brewery with a small patio. A nice variety of beers, some sours, some IPAs and some barrel aged beers. A unique feature of this brewery is that they publish all of their recipes, so if you want to try home brewing, you can replicate your favourites.

Halo is a really cute brewery tucked away in a great location. They offer an incredible selection of some of the best and most colorful sours you will ever have. Whether you are drinking them fresh from the brewery or at home on your couch they are uniquely delicious and make for a great conversation!

Absolutely loved it here! Great outdoor patio, awesome staff and the beerwow! Key Lime Shapeshifter was incredible - the flavors came through in such a unique way. I regret not bringing any back to the states with me. Don't miss this stop.

The most hospitable owner and staff. Definitely a place to visit. They have a great selection beers. The IPA's are my favourite! The taproom has space to sit and enjoy a wide range of beers and a patio as well.
