I almost left Red Deer without visiting Red Hart Brewing, but I'm very glad that wasn't the case. After just one visit, it quickly became one of my favorite breweries in all of Alberta. First, and most importantly, the beer is great. There are far too many breweries just making their own variations of the same five basic things, Red Hart not only does popular favorites well, but are willing to produce some more adventurous styles, which is the reason I love independent microbreweries. The flavoured Berliners they produce here are the best I've had since I was in Berlin. The two staff members we dealt with were both fantastic. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable. We mostly talked to Kiya, who is a perfect small town bartender. She seemingly knew everyone who came in, and although it was our first time, she made us feel like regulars as well. It's very rare that I get service anywhere that is so good that I feel the need to write it in to a review, but that was the case with Kiya. She even ensured we had a ride back to our hotel. I'll be sure to visit again the next time I'm in Red Deer.

Great rustic atmosphere, excellent staff, and great beer! The staff is super friendly. They have a wide selection of beer. Don't like beer? They usually have a couple other options available. Wish they canned more of their product though. The year round patio is fantastic!

Perfect for a quick beer in Red Deer. This is where the locals come. Must stop, sit at the bar, grab a cold beer and make small talk. Can't wait to come back! Prices are fine, service was great, ambience was superb. It was busy! I'm sure it gets busier during hockey matches or summer events. Lots of parking options.

This place is a must stop whenever we are in or passing through Red Deer. Great beer and a wonderful ambience. Pretty cool staff, too.

A great little establishment outside of the city limits of Red Deer. I was pleased with the service and the overall experience. There was a taco truck outside that added to my love for this place. Definitely stop in if you get a chance.
