A Horchata style Milk Stout brewed with a variety of roasted malts and coffee. It pours very dark black with a thick creamy mocha head. The oats and lactose provide a silky rich mouthfeel, which is balanced with strong aromatics of coffee. The beer is conditioned on cinnamon and vanilla beans, which provide a unique spice character that pairs perfectly with the strong coffee & chocolate flavours of the stout.

    Wheat Beer - Other |
    5.1% Alcohol/Vol. |
    12 IBU (Trace Bitterness)
This beer started as a traditional American style wheat ale, packed with flaked and malted wheat. We selected a yeast strain with a lower ester profile than its traditional European cousins. We then loaded it full with raspberries until the lid blew off. This beer is teeming with raspberries, backed up by a creamy mouthfeel and light crisp malt profile.
Inaugural Batch: Saturday, March 16, 2019
  •  4 on Untappd.
    IPA - New England / Hazy |
    7.5% Alcohol/Vol. |

Juice Plus is the amplified version of Dat Juice. It is brewed with huge amounts of flaked and malted wheat with several big additions of Citra hops.

    IPA - American |

    55 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
Slam Dank is our first venture into the dank side of IPAs. It is double dry hopped with large amounts of Mosaic, Columbus and Apollo. The light biscuity grain profile allows the dank, hop aroma to be fully showcased in this beer. Expect big resinous, earthy, marijauna like aromas to be dominant with a hint of candied tropical fruit on the palate to balance it out.
Inaugural Batch: Saturday, January 14, 2017
  •  3.9 on Untappd.
    IPA - New England / Hazy |
    7% Alcohol/Vol. |
    45 IBU (Gentle Bitterness)
High Socks - 100% Mosaic IPA is another one of our single hopped NE style hazy IPAs. This time we used Mosaic, one of our favourite hops. You'll get big notes of Pineapple and candied tropical fruit followed by some slight resinous, dank flavours. We kept the body big to hold up to the huge flavours of the Mosaic hop and for a beer that clocks in at 7% ABV, it is incredibly crushable.
Inaugural Batch: Sunday, February 26, 2017
  •  3.7 on Untappd.
    IPA - American |
    6.4% Alcohol/Vol. |
    55 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
A crisp clean malt bill sets the stage for Simcoe, Chinook, and Cascade hops to shine. Expect big flavours of citrus, resinous pine and tropical fruit backed by an assertive snappy bitterness. Dry on the palate, yet displaying a full and rounded mouthfeel, this beer showcases a different side of IPA for us.
Inaugural Batch: Saturday, September 14, 2019

Space Armadillo is a Double IPA brewed with Sacc-Trois yeast and heavily dry-hopped with Galaxy and Amarillo hops. It pours a hazy blond colour with heavy notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Some Brett-like fruit flavours blend with the hops to add complexity and juiciness.

    0 IBU (Trace Bitterness)
An experimental IPA brewed with acidified malt which adds a slightly tart acidity and sea salt to give it a complex flavour profile that is both balanced and refreshing. It was then triple dry hopped with Citra, Lemon Drop and Motueka hops giving it a big citrusy hop punch that reminds you that that beer you're crushing is actually an IPA.
Inaugural Batch: Friday, April 14, 2017

    IPA - Imperial / Double |
    8.3% Alcohol/Vol. |
    48 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
We used our favourite hop combo on this one, Citra, Mosaic, & Simcoe in a mixture of both pellets and lupulin powder. Two massive dry hops give this beer a huge hop forward aroma and flavour with big notes of citrus, pineapple, mango and a little bit of dank.

Day-Blink is an unfiltered, 100% Simcoe hopped American style Pale Ale. It pours a hazy, golden colour with a bright white head. The Simcoe hops provide strong aromatic flavours of peach & apricot with hints of tropical fruit and a slight resinous undertone.

    IPA - New England / Hazy |
    6.5% Alcohol/Vol. |
    15 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
An East Coast style beer brought to the West Coast, this is a beer with tons of flavour and even more balance. The bitter hop flavours are balanced by the sweet fruit, the acidic fruit is balanced with the lactose sugar additions and the alcohol is balanced by the high final gravity. This beer is the perfect balance in every aspect that you can judge a beer.

Twin Sails doesn't throw around the term "double dry-hopped" a lot. But this one is no joke.

A collaboration with our friends at Boombox Brewing, this DIPA is packed with flavour. A NE style double IPA that's about as hazy as it gets. We put 500lbs of Blood Orange puree and 2L of Blood Orange zest into this batch along with three huge hop additions of Citra, Amarillo and Azacca hops. Expect tons of orange peel on the nose followed by big citrusy hop flavours on the palate.

Super Festbier! Smaller venue, offers snacks in-house, pizza truck outside on my day.

Twin Sails Brewing was on my radar long before I got a chance to visit the brewery itself. They are quite well establishedin pubs and liquor stores across the LowerMainland. Although availability varies, most of the time, you can find brews on tap that are on the stronger side when it comes to flavor and alcohol content, which is absolutely fine with me.Space Armadillo DIPA and Juice+Cintra IPA are my all-time favorites. Their taproom is of a decent size, but not too big, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, there is always some sort of a food truck right in front of the brewery, so food is not aproblem.

My girlfriend and I loved our experience at Twin Sails. Their prices are super reasonable for the product and they have a super relaxed and fun atmosphere. We tried a flight and loved their new Volcano King Double Pineapple IPA. Would recommend. Cheers! Ps. Nice merch too

Best beer in the area. But arguably the worst of the local tasting rooms. Staff also seem to believe they are doing you a favour by allowing you to order beer here -- goes with the pretentious hipster vibe, I suppose. But, again, beer here is the best of Port Moody (and among the best in all of YVR).
