4 on Untappd.A Horchata style Milk Stout brewed with a variety of roasted malts and coffee. It pours very dark black with a thick creamy mocha head. The oats and lactose provide a silky rich mouthfeel, which is balanced with strong aromatics of coffee. We selected a yeast strain with a lower ester profile than its traditional European cousins. We then loaded it full with raspberries until the lid blew off. 3.9 on Untappd.Slam Dank is our first venture into the dank side of IPAs. It is double dry hopped with large amounts of Mosaic, Columbus and Apollo. The light biscuity grain profile allows the dank, hop aroma to be fully showcased in this beer. 3.9 on Untappd.High Socks - 100% Mosaic IPA is another one of our single hopped NE style hazy IPAs. This time we used Mosaic, one of our favourite hops. You'll get big notes of Pineapple and candied tropical fruit followed by some slight resinous, dank flavours. It pours a hazy blond colour with heavy notes of citrus and tropical fruit. 4 on Untappd.A collaboration with our friends at Boombox Brewing, this DIPA is packed with flavour. A NE style double IPA that's about as hazy as it gets. We put 500lbs of Blood Orange puree and 2L of Blood Orange zest into this batch along with three huge hop additions of Citra, Amarillo and Azacca hops. 3 years agoTwin Sails Brewing was on my radar long before I got a chance to visit the brewery itself. They are quite well establishedin pubs and liquor stores across the LowerMainland. Although availability varies,most of the time, you can find brews on tap that are on the stronger side when it comes to flavor and alcohol content, which is absolutely fine with me.Space Armadillo DIPA and Juice+Cintra IPA are my all-time favorites. Their taproom is of a decent size, but not too big, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, there is always some sort of a food truck right in front of the brewery, so food is not aproblem.

4 months agoMy girlfriend and I loved our experience at Twin Sails. Their prices are super reasonable for the product and they have a super relaxed and fun atmosphere. We tried a flight and loved their new Volcano King Double Pineapple IPA. Would recommend. Cheers! Ps. Nice merch too

7 years agoBest beer in the area. But arguably the worst of the local tasting rooms. Staff also seem to believe they are doing you a favour by allowing you to order beer here -- goes with the pretentious hipster vibe, I suppose. But, again, beer here is the best of Port Moody (and among the best in all of YVR).
