Pilsners were once wonderful. And then they became terrible. And now they are becoming wonderful again. As the most ubiquitous style of beer brewed ever in the history of ever, there was bound to be a fallout somewhere. The good news is that our version is the real deal. Hoppy, crisp, light, and refreshing, this lager hides no faults and delivers the goods in one fell swoop.

East Coast, West Coast, English, American, Black, White, Red, Session, Belgian, Double, Triple… You get the point. Today’s IPA has essentially lost its identity, so we decided to let you draw the conclusions on this one. Brewed to be dry, hoppy (duh), and quaffable, this ale is full of peach and mango flavours from the addition of Idaho 7 and Azzaca hops.

Generously hopped stout with a boat load of oats.

Brewed with whole cone Centennial and Cascade hops, this classic American-style pale ale is full of citrusy hop flavour and aroma.

Brewed with a blend of dried fruit, berries, hibiscus, and rose hops, this ale drinks like a breath of fresh air. Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the flowers.

Simcoe and Amarillo

Born from a love of bitter hops and Belgian ale, Stamina delivers an extremely dry and herbaceously bitter sip, while the interplay between the hops and peppery spice provide complexity. Extremely thirst quenching, this ale also makes for a wonderful apéritif.

Wheat IPA with New Zealand hops. Brett fermented

Brewed with dried figs, raisins, star anise, and Belgian monastic yeast

Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout with coffee and chocolate.

Inspired by a single glass of beer in the city of Ceske Budejovice that expressed everything we love about brewing and drinking lagers, this Czech-style lager is a lesson in the wonderful interplay of World Class ingredients.

Our annual West-Coast style IPA, brewed with copious amounts of Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops. Bold, bitter, and aromatic.

Hazy Pale Ale in the New England Style, brewed dryer and with a touch more bitterness than most examples to give you just a bit more hop deliciousness.

Brewed with 100% IREKS Pilsner Malt from Kulmbach, Germany, this is the perfect beer for relaxing endeavours such as mowing the lawn, taking a bath, or simply ducking the fog.

A sour Brutbier brewered with peaches and green tea. In a quest to develop the most refreshing beer ever made (we might have), we bring you this tart and effervescent delight. Sitting at just 3.8%, this unbelievably dry ale is out first official "sour", and delivers thirst quenching peach flavours in spades, backed by an extremely clean lactic sourness that finishes briskly with subtle tannins from Japanese green tea.

A small quaint brewery in a charming location in Westboro. I was lucky to score a place on the patio, but there is also space inside to drink. I opted for a flight and a pint when there. Exile Pale Ale was my personal favorite. They do serve food, but I wasn't there to eat. If I was back in the area I wouldn't hesitate to go back and visit. Staff are fun, easy going and attentive. There isn't parking there so you'll have to find a place on the street.

8 beers on tap to choose from, with 5oz pours available. As a non fan of IPAS, these IPAs were among the best I've tasted. Their American Brown Ale was supreme. Hands down winner. Ok merch selection and the staff was friendly but not exactly engaging. Decent food menu though I didn't try anything. Overall, you should go.

I've been coming here now and then for a couple of years. The food used to be "Fair food", like hot dogs and really not much to get excited about - basically what bars legally have to have to sell alcohol. That's no longer true. They just changed their menu a few months back. I stopped in because I wanted a sandwich and they were nearby. That's the pic with the larger pepperoncinis. Basic flavours - basil pesto, aged cheddar, confit grape tomatoes. Toasted, fresh roll. This is a truly world-class sandwich. I had to come back to try it again. Today, the same sandwich was exactly the same but less toasted. Pros and cons to each, I love it. 9.1 - this is one of the best sandwiches in Ottawa. Subito, di Rienzo, Sherwood - Tooth and Nail needs to be listed with the greats. My girlfriend got the vegan friendly Pinsa, the base is an herbed tahini. Also exceptional. Already a great brewery with great beer, now the food is ridiculously delicious. I will be back to try to the beef dip next.

Really nice spot. I hade one of the house beers which was served at a good temperature quickly. It was very refreshing. I had the sous vide beef sandwich which was excellent. The side salad was really nice too. The inside tables are shared so you may make new friends. They have some separate tables and a good sized bar area.

Are we the only ones who came here just for the food lol? It was late on a Thursday night, my husband and I and our dog were walking around after an Urban Art Collective Night Market nearby, and we were hungry. Tooth and Nail was open and they allowed us to sit in their outside seating area with our dog. We are not into beer, and we weren't sure if the food menu here would be an afterthought. We were very pleasantly surprised! We got the Caprese sandwich and the Chicken Pesto sandwichboth were excellent, and each came with a great side salad. In addition, the service was friendly, the outside seating area was really pleasant on a seasonable night, and the staff was welcoming to our dog. This is a true neighborhood gem. We will definitely be back!
