Red Ale - American Amber / Red |
    5% Alcohol/Vol. |
    20 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
This beer is all about the balance of caramel malt sweetness and English and American spicy, citrusy hops. Pours a perfect amber colour, with a light to medium body. Slight hints of stone fruit in the aroma perfectly balance the earthy and herbal hop characteristics. The sweeter caramel maltiness is subdued by a floral hop bitterness in the finish.

    Blonde / Golden Ale - Other |
    4.6% Alcohol/Vol. |
    29 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
While it is very much like a pilsner, our German-Style Blonde Ale is fermented warmer than a lager, giving it a very subtle citrus fruit character. We've chosen varieties of European and American hops for a distinct aroma and flavour, and rounded out the recipe with a blend of Canadian malts. Pours a golden straw colour, with a light enjoyable mouthfeel. Aromas of freshly cut grasses, perfectly compliment the crisp yet slightly sweet maltiness.

    Pale Ale - American |
    5.6% Alcohol/Vol. |
    46 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
Our American Pale Ale spotlights two hop varietals, Simcoe and Amarillo. The grain bill is comprised of Canadian and English malts, as well as an adequate amount of oats providing a full mouthfeel without adding too much body. The hop schedule during the brew process imparts a subtle bitterness, while the massive dry hop delivers incredible notes of berry and citrus.

    55 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
Our flagship exploration into the wonderful world of hops... This hazy double dry hopped offering features only Simcoe hops and is modeled after Vermont IPAs. It is medium bodied, juicy, resinous, with a bright aroma of passion fruit and citrus.

    Stout - Irish Dry |
    4.4% Alcohol/Vol. |
    41 IBU (Gentle Bitterness)
A celebration of roasted barley, our dry Irish stout is nearly black in colour. It is low in alcohol, but chock full of delightful aromatics and flavour nuances that include hop-bitterness and a slight touch of acidity, both of which provide contrast to the beer’s big, roast-heavy character.

    IPA - New England / Hazy |
    6.7% Alcohol/Vol. |
    50 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
This double dry hopped IPA was created to be a clean and pleasingly graceful showcase for two delicious hop varietals - Citra and Mosaic. It is brewed with a simple malt bill and fermented with our house IPA yeast to create a flavour profile that spotlights the ingredients and yeast character. Electric Mayhem’s aroma is a citrus explosion. The taste follows suit with notes of orange juice, grapefruit, mango, and hints of lime. It is dry, soft, and adequately bittered resulting in a very approachable and thirst quenching IPA.

Pale Ale - New England / Hazy |
    5% Alcohol/Vol. |
    35 IBU (Gentle Bitterness)
In the spirit of restraint, we developed this New England Pale Ale to be more balanced and approachable than it’s aggressively hopped big brothers and sisters. The Citra and Mosaic notes shine bright though the soft, medium body of this offering, and are sure to please the palate.

    Wheat Beer - Other |

    18 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
Brewed with 50% Canadian 2-Row barley, 50% Canadian malted wheat, and just the right amount of hops for balance, our take on an American wheat ale has soft flour-like mouthfeel and incredible drinkability. It pours a beautiful hazy orange and is served with a slice of lemon, making for what we think is the perfect wheat beer!

Sprø {adjective}: crisp, crispy, crazy, mad. We brewed this experimental Norwegian lagered ale with a very particular Kveik yeast strain and were able to produce a very light, and extremely drinkable beer that is almost indistinguishable from a central European lager. It is dry, light to medium bodied, and finishes with slightly floral notes from generous additions of classic noble hop varieties.

    IPA - American |
    6.8% Alcohol/Vol. |
    65 IBU (Robust Bitterness)
Guardian was created to be a clean showcase for our favourite Australian hop - GALAXY. It is brewed with a simple malt bill and fermented with our house ale yeast to profile the ingredients rather than the yeast character. As it warms it shows its depth and complexity beyond its resinous, dry mouthfeel. Soft notes of citrus, peach and passionfruit aromas dance on the tongue before a sharp citric bitterness finishes things off.

    Märzen |
    5.9% Alcohol/Vol. |
    24 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
Our take on the traditional German Märzen-style is like Autumn in a glass. The recipe is comprised of 100% German ingredients imparting a deep red, almost garnet colour. Aromas of toasted pumpernickel bread, caramel, and dark fruit fill the nose. Taste follows the aroma with upfront but not overwhelming caramel flavours, resulting in a medium to full bodied, smooth and malty beer. Prost!

    Lager - Pale |
    5.1% Alcohol/Vol. |
    18 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
Even though we call it “Lagerbier”, this beer is considered more of an unfiltered Munich-style Helles lager or “Kellerbier”. You will find our original lager to be a malt accented offering with a pleasant sweetness, along with floral notes from generous Hallertau Mittlefrüh hop additions. Clean and crisp, this German offering pairs perfectly with most foods, and is endlessly refreshing.

    Altbier - Traditional |
    5.9% Alcohol/Vol. |
    26 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
In the continuation of our exploration into German-style beer, we present Late Harvest, an Altbier. The style originated in the Düsseldorf area of Germany, a region that did not embrace the traditional methods of cold aging or lagering. Our top-fermented Altbier is a balance of malt flavours and hints of floral hop aromas, and proves to be a perfect beer as we head into the later days of autumn and early days of winter.

Dinner was great, the beer was good, dessert was disappointing. The food was great, I had the club sandwich which was really tasty. We also tried the Alfredo Chicken Pizza, which was really good. We'd recommend either of those. We also tried the fish tacos which are also very good. Dessert was ok, but for $11 each, dessert here is not worth it. I hate to say this, but it was almost like they bought them at Costco and drizzled caramel over top of it. The service was good, our server was a little disorganized and a tad slow. But she was very friendly and helpful which is more important in my book. We'll go back for sure. I'd recommend Ridge Rock, just skip dessert.

FYI parking is across the street, otherwise parking is terrible. I came in for a flight and we had lunch while we were here. The stout was really good and I liked the 44 as well. The burger was really delicious. I didn't love seeing that the kids burger was the same size, the only difference was that mine came with onions, pickles, sauce, and lettuce. The fries were very hot and crispy. I gave it 4 stars because of the service. The server only came to take our order and bring food, never really checked in with us. I had to go to the bar to ask about another drink and a take out container. The place was not busy. When the check came It was a good thing I looked because the server also forgot to give me the discounted price for the burger because it was the special. Overall I would come back for the beer but maybe not for a meal.

I recently decided to give Ridge rock another try, even though I wasn't a fan of the old menu. Let me tell you, I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the experience was fantastic. The service was exceptionalattentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It's rare to find such a high level of hospitality these days. As for the food, I was completely blown away! The new menu is a game-changer. Every dish we tried was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The chefs have really outdone themselves. The new offerings transformed my hesitation into excitement, and I can confidently say this will be one of my go-to spots from now on. If you're looking for a place that combines top-notch service with incredible food, give ridge rock a try. I will definitely be returning 100% and can't wait to explore more of the new menu. Highly recommended!

I have come to Ridge Rock with my family a few times this summer and fall, and I've been impressed every time. The food is awesome, we especially the Gluten Free Cauliflower Crust pizza. My husband and I enjoy a variety of their beer selections. The service is always awesome, the bartender is very friendly and helpful, he provides great recommendations based on our preferences. Whether it's for a late lunch, Sunday Dinner, or for trivia night, Ridge Rock is worth the drive to Carp

A great spot with plenty of seating and excellent beer choices to chill and or enjoy some great food. There's a huge patio with plenty of seating at regular tables as well as picnic tables. Indoor seating has high chairs as well as table height accommodations. There's plenty of excellent beer choices but also lots of non-beer cocktails and some non-alcoholic choices too! Their limited menu is well packed with something for everyone. Service is fantastic. Come enjoy some awesome beer and chill worth the trip from Ottawa!
