    This earthy brew has a rich malty backbone complimented with a hint of woody juniper gentle and a smooth finish. Fermented raw this ale strikes a unique balance between complexity and a approachability. Sahti is an ancient farmhouse beer style from Finland, and shares some similarities with the traditional beers of Norway, and other Scandinavian countries. The oldest physical recipe is dated to the medieval era, but there are mentions of the beer in oral tradition that would go back much further.

    Had a chance to check out Stonyslope for the first time this evening and it was an absolute treat! The taproom is really cute, they've got lots of games (and darts!!) for all ages (not the darts part), and some unique but genuinely tasty beer offerings. We tried them all and our faves were the milk stout and the Grendel, but shout out to the dry hopped iced tea (their non alcoholic offering). Tasty food options with a lot of stuff made locally or in house. Highly recommend and we will be back!

    Likely my fave brewery in the city. Amazing, unique beer (not 14 varieties of IPA and sour), incredible staff that make you feel so welcome and a delicious menu (it's small but that is perfect because each dish is beautiful). And super fam friendly with a fun selection of games.

    This brewery is one of my absolute favourites in the city and not enough people seem to know about it yet. I've literally never had a bad beer here (I recommend getting a flight so you don't miss out on anything), the food is crazy good, and the staff are super friendly. It's a little hard to find from the outside but it's right next to the Anytime Fitness so just look for the section in that building that doesn't have treadmills in the windows and go on in for a beer and a snack!
