We went down to where the tracks cross the devil to bring you the all new Belgian Chery DIPA. This balanced medium-bodied DIPA, has luscious cherry flavor and aroma that will seduce your senses. The spicy notes and fruity esters, brought to life by the unique Belgian yeast. The malt backbone with notes of dark fruit, spice, and biscuit, all leading up to a refreshingly dry finish. Brewed with Styrian Cardinal hops, which unleash an explosion of flavors ranging from succulent strawberry and citrus to the irresistible allure of anise.

This West Coast IPA boasts a crisp and smooth texture, with a brilliant golden hue and a light hop haze. The body is light-medium and finishes with a dry, non-malty taste, allowing the hops to take center stage. The beer is highly hopped but not overly bitter, thanks to its high attenuation and dry finish. Aromas of floral, spice, resin, citrus, tropical and berry notes tantalize the senses.

It’s a Dark Fusion of an American Porter and an American Wheat Ale. This dark brown beer almost approaches black in color, with a delicate tan head. Featuring a smooth, deep roast, full body ale with notes of blackcurrant, chocolate & a light coffee aroma. The bitterness is floral, spiced, and herbal, with a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. A perfect balance between malt and hops!

This light-bodied Blonde Ale offers a clean, crisp texture, with fresh raspberries and lemony zest creating a perfectly balanced flavor profile. The sweet fruitiness of raspberries and the bright citrusy notes of lemon combine in a harmonious aroma, reminiscent of Swedish Berry candies. Travelling down the tracks along the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway and inspired by the incredible flavours of South Asia; we put a spin on our IPA. Blended with vanilla, cardamom and a generous helping of mangoes, the perfect backdrop of the full bodied, creamy, earthly spices; balanced with pure mango flavours.

Hints of chocolate, caramel, vanilla and orange in this English Style porter. Resembling that of a Terry's Chocolate Orange, but in a beer! Dark brown with ruby highlights. Medium carbonation. Moderate creamy texture.

Sometimes, in the urban industrial wasteland, you'll find a hidden gem. This is one of those places!!! Stuck somewhere unassuming in the middle of the warehouses and hotels up by YYC, you'll find Railyard Brewing. Marked only by a sign, high above the front door among everything that looks the same... You'd expect only that - just the same. This place is anything but. Walking through the front door you are welcomed by an inviting glow and a case holding some of the things they are most proud of. On your way passed the bar, the aesthetic of the place starts to take hold. The decor is semi-industrial - fitting to the area - with awesome graffiti on the wall. The food menu features familiar favourites - pizzas, sandwiches and bar snacks. They take every opportunity they can to incorporate their craft brews as ingredients in their dishes. The pizza features a fantastically crispy, yet chewy crust! Everything I've tried so far is amazing! The presentation never lets you down, even the vegetables are still al dente in the soups I highly recommend the Pesto Cauliflower Sub, their Pretzel Crouton Kale Caesar and the Loaded Nacho Fries. They offer so many beers, made in house and available in most liquor stores. You'll have to swing by for their taproom exclusives, which are only available at this location - including Anita. She was super knowledgeable, ready with recommendations and an absolute gem - just like this place.

Good pizza and great brews. Their core offerings are tasty, especially their nitro stout. They usually brew one or two taproom exclusives which are great. They had a fantastic English Dark Mild a few years ago and at the present time they have a British Brown ale right now which is quite similar and deliciously smooth and nutty. It's a pretty open space inside and they also have a billiard table and some darts available. Service is fast. Great brewery in the north here near the airport.

Love this placea Beacon of Hope for good times in an otherwise intolerable sprawling industrial complex beneath a flight landing path to Calgary Airport. Totally recommend hitting this place for a Sunday afternoon. Nearby Hotels serve Railyard's choice beers on tap - Go with the IPAs!

Never even knew this was here! Great brewery with some great beers and great staff. Followed by some great pizza the hot HAWAIIAN is simply great. Seriously though it is worth the stop in for a pint.

Decent beer, ok pizza and food. Slow service. Darts and pool tables to kill the time were fun. Cool vibe and atmosphere.
