A Microburst is an intense small-scale downdraft produced by a thunderstorm. With the help of science, we have created a new iteration of microburst: A powerful deluge of flavour from new world hops that cascades your olfactory senses with tropical juiciness. The Microburst Hazy IPA will be gone as quickly as it arrived.

Welcome the change of seasons with Guavamorphology, an ultra-refreshing kettle-soured gose packed to the rafters with juiced pink guavas and Ekuanot hops to create an aromatic citrus fruit bomb! A simple malt base of craft 2-row barley and flaked wheat was infused with modest boil additions of Himalayan rock salt and lactose, delivering a pillowy soft mouthfeel and an intensely refreshing finish that pairs all too well with the spring melt. So switch gears and step away from winter into this lacto-soured marvel of hop fruited funk!

The 8th installment in our Guardians of the Ice Series brings Stutfield Peak, an unfiltered, tropical, juicy Hazy Pale Ale. Guardians of the Ice is a non-profit organization that works to inspire dynamic environmental stewardship on behalf of the rapidly retreating Columbia Icefield, its watersheds, and the whole planet, through educational programming.

Named after intrepid Canadian climber, Vikki Weldon. This fruited sour is packed with raspberries, mint and lemon tea for a punchy delivery of floral and citrus notes, topped with a dose of Pink Boots hop blend! Suzanne helped brew this one!

Razzlands Raspberry Lager slithers out of the Badlands with a bite of tart raspberry and a whole lot of attitude. Long-time buds Banded Peak and Dandy team up again to celebrate some of Alberta's epic landscapes. This beer is as bold as a rattlesnake, with a refreshing taste reminiscent of a cool breeze in Drumheller.

Banded Peak Brewery in Calgary is an absolute gem! After a long day at work in the Manchester area, this place is perfect for unwinding. The atmosphere is fantastic, with cool music that sets the mood just right. The staff here are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, especially Cat, who always knows what's going on and was even watering the flowers during my visit. One of the highlights is the range of activities available. They have cribbage tournaments, which are a blast, and there's also cornhole for some fun competition. The brewery is kid-friendly, making it a great spot for families. The dog-friendly patio is another plus, and they even have bug spray repellent available in the bathrooms - a thoughtful touch! The food is delicious, and the beer flights are a great way to sample their awesome brews. Banded Peak Brewery has truly created a welcoming and engaging environment. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing and enjoyable time! ---

Banded Peak is one of my favorite breweries in Calgary. The Chinook Saison is hands down the best summer beer. I recently did the Barley Belt Bike Tour and stopped in to try their beer and meet the owners. Amazing experience, definitely try their beer and stop in at the brewery.

Cozy space, great food and awesome drinks! Staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The bartenders nails were on point- nice little bonus.

Enjoyed a fun evening here over a refreshing flight and couple of grilled cheese sandwiches. The caprese was epic (that sour dough!). The bacon one on brioche was also delicious. Highly recommend a side of the onion chip dip too. Friendly service (thanks to our patient server at the bar for all the beer details!), cozy patio and dogs allowed too. Not all the beers were really my cuppa, but that's the beauty of a flight, there will always be a surprise and something good.

Had lots of fun stopping at banded peak while doing the bike tour. The fennel sausage was really something. Good to see they made good use of such a small space.
