    IPA - American |
    6.5% Alcohol/Vol. |
    80 IBU (Intense Bitterness)
An intense juxtaposition of smooth malt backing and a hop-forward finish. Liquid Swords IPA consists of floral and fruity notes. Once the auburn coloured body reaches the palate, a sweet tingling sensation of berry and citrus consumes the taste-buds and quickly transitions into a sharp tart earthiness to cleanse the palate. It is time to live by the sword. HOPS Bittering: Magnum, Chinook Flavour & Aroma: Mosaic, Ahtanum, Citra, Amarillo MALT Pilsner, Belgian Crystal
Inaugural Batch: Saturday, May 23, 2015

    Blonde / Golden Ale - Other |
    4.2% Alcohol/Vol. |
    22 IBU (Subtle Bitterness)
A very crisp, refreshing and easy drinking blonde ale. Summery with its subtle notes of citrus. Not too bitter, not to hoppy, a wonderful introduction to the world of craft ales. Roberta Blondar will send your palate into orbit. HOPS Bittering: Magnum Flavour & Aroma: Citra, Mosaic MALT  Pilsner, Munich
Inaugural Batch: Friday, April 17, 2015
  •  3.7 on Untappd.
IPA - Black / Cascadian Dark Ale |
    6% Alcohol/Vol. |
    80 IBU (Intense Bitterness)
The Dark Prince Black IPA begins with a smooth velvety mouthfeel. Subtle caramel and coffee flavours stem from its strong roasted malt background. The appearance/colour may shock you once you encounter the earthy/floral citrus tones of a more traditional IPA. The high IBU's balance out the 6% ABV and give it a long lasting hoppy bitterness that rolls out longer after every sip. "All hail Dark Prince, future ruler of the Black IPA Kingdom". HOPS Bittering: Chinook Flavour & Aroma: Citra, Summit MALT Pilsner, Black Malt

    8.5% Alcohol/Vol. |
    125 IBU (Pervasive Bitterness)
The Seismic Narwhal Imperial IPA at 8.5% ABV is a beer of epic proportion. With the many different hops put into this brew it formulates an explosive taste experience with every mouthful. As soon as the auburn liquid gold hits your taste buds it is as if a volcano of flavour erupted and the only thing you can do is get ready for the ride. HOPS Bittering & Aroma: Amarillo, Ahtanum, Citra, Chinook, Mosaic, Magnum, Summit MALT Pilsner, Belgian Crystal

Went to this brewery on a Tuesday, pretty packed and good vibe/service. Their beer was good, liked all the ones I tried and my friend enjoyed his too.

A quick stop in on the trek out east. Easily accessible off the highway with plenty of seating available for groups of different sizes. Variety of beers available for all tastes. Three different sizes available, and the prices are based on three different tiers. Lagers are tier 1, double IPAs are tier 3 with a variety in-between. Snacks are available for $2, they fill a little flight glass with your choice, or you can get a flight of snacks as well to munch on with your pints. A spot we'll be making more stops off in the future, hopefully on one we'll visit the smokehouse out front as well.

I visited this brewery for the first time a couple Friday's ago. I will definitely be returning the next time I get to the Bowmanville area. I tried a couple flights of beer, with various styles. All were good quality AND there was a beer-cocktail menu I did not explore but looked good for those looking for something different or not 100% beer fans. Although I cannot give a rating for food because I did not order, the service was amazing. I was there right as it opened (and a handful of other customers) but everything was ready to go! I enjoyed the atmosphere inside. Outside seating was available as well. I would recommend visiting this brewery.

Went there with some friends on a Saturday night. Awesome beer - they really respect the craft. Good snacks, great atmosphere, awesome staff. Band playing that night was fun. I'm sure not every band is this good but really adds to the chill atmosphere.

What a hidden gem! I disagree with another poster who said this place has no atmosphere...it has such a funky/eclectic vibe. Great service and the beer was tasty! My only recommendation to the owner(s) would be better signage outside the building - it was difficult to find from the road. Would love to come back!
