The Belgian Ale yeast produces pronounced fruity ester and spice characteristics, including notes of orange and coriander. Exhibit great depths of maltiness, the smooth mouth-feel and full body deliver multiple layers of malt complexity evocative of rich, dark fruit, molasses, brown sugar and more. This beer also exhibits spicy yeast notes while the hops keep the mall sweetness from becoming cloying, but they remain in the background.

Me, wife and dog were just here today for a few pints and it's probably the best brewery I have been to in a long time, pints filled to the top, big tasters, and the server was extremely helpful in beer selection! And very reasonably priced! We will definitely be coming back. Other brewery's should take note on how it's done! We didn't catch the server's name but it was amazing service.

Old Abbey Ales was one of the first craft breweries that I tried. I loved them then, and I'm happy to say that I love them now. They aren't afraid to experiment with unconventional flavors. It reminds me of my original excitement with craft beer; not knowing whether you're going to enjoy something but needing to try it because it sounds damned interesting is fun, and while that means that you might try something that isn't to your taste it really adds to the experience. Go for a flight and experiment. They have a lot of different kinds of beer, and I'm sure you'll find something that fits your pallet.

Delicious beer! Large seating area with pool table, and friendly, awesome staff! Minor and dog friendly! Small eats available, growler fills, and cans. Love their sour beer, large variety of rotating beer on tap. 2 minute drive off highway, exit 83. Charcuterie in fridge! Really good beer!

We were searching for a nice stop on our road trip and hadn't tried any breweries in Abby before. My husband picked this one out as logo and name suggested English style brews. That was the first mistake, when we walked in there was plenty on the board but not the English styles we expected. No problem, lots of fun looking combinations and we are open to all beer. Order 3 different beers, not one tasted like style listed ( The white ipa is nothing like any white ipa I have ever had and it's my favourite style! I couldn't even finish it) Definitely nothing I would recommend. We then tried a sample of another fruity brew and asked some questions about style, grain ect.. bartender just said I don't know I just serve the beer. Neither of us finished that sample either. My husband and friend decided to be brave and try two more styles, it can't all be bad. One was vomit worthy, smell, taste everything. The other was drinkable but so unbalanced, ipa but not hoppy and overly sweet. We left extremely disappointed after trying 6 of their beers and will never be back. Have never had and experience like that and have been to over 50 breweries over the years!

Stopped in on the weekend, literally gagged on the beer. The atmosphere was comparable to hanging out in your 18 year olds garage. If you're going to do Reno's, close! Would not go back!
